This was recognized by Tinashe, who extended a helping hand to Dunham and anyone who wanted to learn the dance on the MTV Movie Awards blue carpet. “It was super cool to see that support and have people dancing to my songs on TV. Why do they always cancel or discontinue the best shows ?!? Los Angeles, CA – A few weekends back, an episode of HBO’s ultra popular female-driven series Girls   (which is in its final season) featured Lena Dunham’s character Hannah Horvath dancing awkwardly to Tinashe’s hit single “All Hands On Deck.”

So am gonna have a major rant about my all-time FAVOURITE TV show called Girls (think poor man's Sex & the City 😂) and it's only got 3 episodes left and I'm pissed about the fact they aren't gonna continue it !!! Coming soon… listen on da gram for now!!!! You touch Renzel, you’re going down” before launching into a tough-talking verse. The Maybach Music Group artist teased the first of the tracks, which featured Meek giving a brief monolog of “No weapon formed against me shall prosper/Young nigga started with oodles of noodles, now we eatin’ lobster” before launching into a bass-heavy track filled with the 29-year-old’s standard started-from-the-bottom boasts. With a refrain that uses the words “Amen” and “They Can’t Win,” it appears Meek might have another street anthem on his hands. The second track features MMG boss Rick Ross talking a little trash himself, saying “Ain’t no celebrity boxing matches, baby! I've been on some shit patch….. The Dreamchasers rapper took to Instagram to tease a trio of track snippets as he’s reported to be hard at work on Dreamchasers 4.5 and a third solo studio album.

West can now boast that the project is officially certified platinum — the first streaming-only album to earn that distinction. TLOP was released as a TIDAL exclusive in February 2016   and became a bit of a work in progress for West after he continued to edit the final tracklist and mixes of the songs. The album was made available to TIDAL’s streaming competitors on April 1 of the same year, despite West’s previous insistence that it would stay exclusive. Tuesday’s announcement that the RIAA certified the record platinum comes with the news that the album has been streamed more than 3 billion times across all platforms, according to a Def Jam press release. .@kanyewest makes history as #TLOP becomes the FIRST streaming-only album to ever achieve RIAA Platinum certification!!💿💿 pic.twitter.com/Ycde04hLAH

LionsGate   recently made an announcement that a film telling the story of Yasuke, a former African slave turned samurai who served under Japanese ruler Oda Nobunaga, was in the works. He signed a petition on change.org   that makes his case for why he should play Yasuke. The change.org page has the trailer for an unreleased film titled Crime,   which can be viewed below. Then again, maybe Lupe Fiasco has a shot following this Instagram post. The petition was started by journalist and A&R   Walasia “MJ” Shabazz. “It is important that Waleed ‘C-RAYZ WALZ’ Shabazz be cast in the role of Yasuke,” the petition says. “We do not want Hollywood to portray this key historically figure incorrectly or in a bad light – Forest Whitaker should be cast as the Father of Yasuke, and Rae Dawn Chong as the Mother – but only C-RAYZ WALZ can bring Yasuke to life/light & portray the Original Asiatic Samurai.”

“I traveled somewhere where it’s like a life don’t mean nothing, you know what I’m saying? They don’t have no TV.”
Montana went on to assure his fans he was dropping the video on Friday (April 7) and that viewers would “see some real dance moves.” Watch the full video above. I just want to let people know there’s people really living like that, so open your eyes and help people out there.”
“The realest talent is not here,” he added. Los Angeles, CA – French Montana was recently overseas shooting a video in Uganda, which was apparently an eye-opening experience. I just want to spread the word, especially with everything that’s going on right now in the   United States and everything. “These kids I went to go see dance better than Chris Brown. “I traveled somewhere that I never knew people still lived like that,” Montana said. After recruiting several children as extras in his video, he soon   realized the sheer talent he’d discovered and was slapped with a newfound respect for those living in the impoverished East African nation. After returning to the United States,   the Moroccan rapper was caught by TMZ outside L.A.’s Catch   seafood restaurant and explained he had traveled somewhere that “touched” his heart, and discovered some kids in Uganda who had more dance talent than Chris Brown.

No fans wants to hear music made for them. You subconsciously take influence from everywhere. As Chuck ponders why people gravitate to artists such as Frank Ocean and Chance The Rapper, he figures it out himself. ‘Cause, he can rap.”
Unfortunately, no collabs between The Cool Kids and Lil Boat at this time. I just called him like ‘Yeah, it’s just time.’ It was a shit summer. It’s like going to a different channel.”
Summary: Authenticity is key. The only guest appearances fans will receive on the forthcoming album are friends Travis Barker and Killer Mike. It’s just what it is. Chuck explains, “I would say what we’re about to put is, this is our first real album. We actually made an album from scratch.”
When asked if they felt they had to tailor to this generation of Hip Hop, Chuck reacted quickly with a “hell no.” After admitting he liked that question, he wanted people to know, “Things that are of the times don’t mean it’s tight. I don’t want to have a layer of somebody else underneath the foundation of my music and my sound.”
Chuck jokes about waking up to Japanese funk and Russian jazz while staying at Rocks’ crib. People want to hear what your world sounds like, not what you’re trying to make for them. It was like no good news. I was having a fucking horrible time. In the meantime, check out their new single “TV Dinner,” which will receive an equally fire visual treatment, as well their own sketch comedy series The Shit Show. In the interim, Chuck and Mike both took the time to learn how to record on their own, picking up new skills and talents that they both admitted they wouldn’t be able to get unless they ventured out on their own. Away from the pandemonium of SXSW, HipHopDX found The Cool Kids posted in the backyard hanging out, enjoying the cool vibrations of this annual week-long music and film festival in Austin, Texas. “And Yachty’s a fucking genius bro. Sir Michael Rocks explains, “I try to kind of not listen to everybody when I’m recording my album. I don’t want to be influenced, to be honest. Everybody was getting killed. “Uzi’s a fucking genius,” he says. Settling in on a wood bench in the corner, Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks shared the real reason behind the reunion, what to expect musically, and their take on this generation of Hip Hop. Nobody heard no songs before we put it out. After a five (plus) year hiatus, the actual announcement of the reunion came in the form of a tweet. Same thing with Chance. The Cool Kids have been working on their forthcoming LP, Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe, since August of last year. Of course, with this generation’s ongoing phenomenon of old rap heads hating on mumble rap, Chuck had some very praiseworthy things to say about Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty. And I don’t trust everybody, so I don’t know what the fuck y’all want.”
If there’s one thing we can be sure to receive from this iconic rap duo, it’s originality. One spin of “Gold And A Pager” will have fans wondering what ever happened to the iconic rap duo. Everything is from the heart and completely from their own thought process. “Frank don’t take a lyric off. Austin, TX – Tucked away on the outskirts of 5th street was the House of Vans at Mohawk. Combining forces, this created a whole new playground of sounds and tactics to work with. They want to hear the music you made for yourself, so we can tune in. Many could assume plans may have been in the works for quite some time, but in reality, it was quite the opposite. For someone like Yachty to have the voice he has, and be so intelligent to like, be completely spot on with all his visuals.”
Sir Michael Rocks chimes in, “My favorite Yachty shit is when he go fast, and go crazy. Chuck explains, “It was a two-minute decision. This led to a heated conversation about artists trying to sound like someone else. I think in life, if you have the opportunity/ability to change something, and you don’t, that’s on you.”
The surprise drop brought joy to the Hip Hop community and the news was trending on Twitter minutes after it was revealed. “Because it’s the most authentic,” he says. It means that’s what everybody likes.

“We haven’t found counterfeit wines…Anyway, it’s harder to counterfeit champagne than it is to fake a red wine. So much so that the Jay Z-owned Armand de Brignac (Ace of Spades) has introduced a new champagne, Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Two (A2). Unlike the A1, the bottle for the A2 will boast a numbered label, a direct request from past collectors. “Jay is a very strong businessman, certainly one that likes to understand what consumers want and here to build the business for the long term,” Besson said. Bloomberg reports that the latest addition to the Armand de Brignac family will feature pinot noir grapes picked from the 2008, 2009, and 2010 vintages, and is said to boast a mild peppermint flavor. It’s just too complicated.”
With only 2,333 bottles of A2 available to the masses, Besson predicts that the champagne “may only be available for a few months” after its April 18 release. Hov’s Armand de Brignac doesn’t serve as the musician’s first boozy venture. Look wise, the A2 will feature a shiny, metallic bottle similar to that of the A1. But customers and collectors were requesting specific numbers: 888, or their birth date,” Chief Executive Officer, Sebastien Besson said while speaking with Bloomberg, explaining the move was not to combat fraud. Champagne Armand de Brignac

The CEO also boasted on Jay Z’s skills and connection with the needs of customers. “We hadn’t thought about numbering them originally. Priced at a staggering $850, A2 is even costlier than its award-winning predecessor A1, which boasted a $760 price tag. Jay Z’s brand of bubbly is proving to be big business for the the rapper-turned-businessman. In the early 2000s, Jay Z and Roc-A-Fella Records acquired Armadale Vodka, a move recently detailed by HipHopDX’s The Breakdown.

Yesterday (April 3), the TDE rapper tweeted that fans can expect music more frequently from him. Over the weekend, TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith previewed some of the West Coast label’s upcoming releases, although he made no mention of how Rashad fit into the schedule. “I’m done being a hermit.”
To make his point even stronger, he previewed new music from his phone, which he’s clearly vibing to. The rapper was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to shoot the security guard in the face. Atlanta rhymer Young Thug is finally in the clear now that the last charge from a 2015 arrest has been dropped. Thug recently posted about his good fortune on Twitter. After a raid on his Sandy Springs home in July 2015, Thugger was struck with a number of charges including felony cocaine possession, felony marijuana possession, and three counts of felony gun possession. Kading told his story in the book   Murder Rap,   which was then turned into a documentary. “He admitted to Culpepper that the theories in the movie were true,” a source said. The story is told in the documentary   Tupac Assassination: Battle For Compton, which was released on DVD earlier this year. Tupac’s life will be featured in the upcoming biopic,   All Eyez on Me, due out in June. When Knight   found out about the project, he reportedly sent out private investigators to find how the filmmakers knew what happened that fateful night. The theory says that Sharitha and Wright conspired to take out Knight to take over Death Row. It’s not a new theory, though. The rap mogul made the claims through lawyer Thaddeus Culpepper and said that his ex-wife Sharitha and Death Row Records security chief Reggie Wright Jr. Knight is currently sitting in jail awaiting trial for murder charges. Another chapter in the saga of the investigation of Tupac Shakur’s murder has been revealed   as Suge Knight‘s lawyer says in an affidavit that Suge knows who killed the West Coast rap icon   and that it was, in fact, Suge himself   who was the intended target of the hit. A   similar chain of events was put forth in the book   Tupac 187: The Red Knight, which was co-written by former LAPD detective Russell Poole and the same people behind the Battle For Compton film,   Michael Douglas Carlin and Richard Bond. Wright Jr. Previously, former LAPD detective Greg Kading gave an account of Tupac’s murder that accused Puff Daddy of   being behind   the crime, claiming he hired a hitman to take out Biggie’s rival. has commented on the shooting before, and has denied any involvement. He died six days later. Tupac was shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 riding in the passenger seat of a BMW that Knight was driving after they attended a Mike Tyson boxing match. “Culpepper told Carlin individually that not only did Knight confirm the events as portrayed in Compton, which portray Knight was the intended target and Shakur as collateral damage, as true, but also goes on to allege that these 1996 events may have been the first in a history of attempts on Knight’s life, culminating in the recent attempted killing of Knight at the 1OAK Club in Los Angeles, where Knight was shot six times,” a film spokesperson   explained. were behind the infamous drive-by shooting, WENN   reports.

“I’ll say this: CeeLo   and I have always been in touch and we’ve always remained friends and still do and always have a creative desire. And we were supposed to meet the next day and I was like, “This thing will be over with by 7:00 West Coast time. I don’t even know where he was.”
Danger Mouse then tried to put a positive spin on election night, saying that Gnarls Barkley’s music is “very personal … discussions about us, about life and where we were,” going as far as to say that November’s election results might turn out to have “started [the beginning of a Gnarls Barkley record].”
Meanwhile, CeeLo has been busy with a new alter ego — the golden-clad Gnarly Davidson. Listen to the full interview below. Speaking to Zane Lowe about the possibility of both men creating new music together for the first time since 2008’s sophomore effort The Odd Couple, Danger Mouse made it clear that more music is always a possibility. Danger Mouse, the non-CeeLo half of Gnarls Barkley, revealed that election night depressed him so much that it actually stalled the duo’s plan to link up and discuss a reunion. I’ll see you around 8 or 9 or something.” I was drinking heavily on a couch by myself staring at the TV at that time. So that means there’s never not been a potential in my head, so it’s definitely a possibility.”
But he went on to reveal that the last time the two men made plans together, the political shock of the century is what kept the meeting from happening. When Donald Trump won a shock victory over Hillary Clinton to become president last November, not everybody took the news well. “The last time we saw each other was the day before the election in Los Angeles. That was a part of our lives that never really felt over and never really felt finished and he and I still do discuss it a lot.

This means a lot to me but like I said this evening the Canadian radio is gonna have to stop bullshitting and start playing our own on our radio so these kids don't feel the need to leave to the states in order to make it or get heard. While accepting his award during the non-televised gala that went down on Saturday   (April 1), the 24-year-old   artist also made a point of calling out Canadian radio. It’s a good look for the Toronto rapper, who blocked what would’ve been Drake’s fifth win in the category since 2010. Canada paid tribute to its homegrown talent with the biggest night in   Canadian   music, the Juno Awards, going down in   Ottawa this past weekend (April 1-2).
